Tendyron 2G PKI token was the first 2ndgeneration (2G) PKI token designed for online banking security. With smart card technology and on board RSA, AES, DES, SHA-1, SHA-2 algorithms, the 2G PKI token can generate and store digital certificates and private public key pairs as well as encrypt, decrypt, and perform digital signature operations within the protected environment of the smart card chip. 2G PKI tokens work with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux and support security functions and applications enabled under MS-CAPI and PKCS#11 API and integrate with various PKI applications including smartcard logon, website logon authentication, email signature, and document encryption.

The 2G PKI token is based on patented human interface peripheral (HIP) technology and combines a built in LCD screen to provide an easy two-factor authentication and digital signature possible. Each time the 2G PKI token receives transaction instructions, it will analyze and extract the key exchange data and immediately display information such as receiver’s name, account number, and amount on the built in LCD screen. If this information does not correspond with the intended recipient, the user can simply cancel the transaction with the click of a button. If all the displayed information is correct, the user can process the transaction by simply clicking confirm. 2G PKI tokens make online transactions highly visible and controllable providing defense against today’s online threats.
